Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus. This tissue can develop on various structures within the pelvic region, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, the outer surface of the uterus, and the tissues lining the pelvis. In rare cases, it can even spread beyond the pelvic region.

This can be extremely painful and take many years to diagnose before sufferers even know what is going on. We hope this little endometriosis buddy will give you some comfort during hard times.
